Provides support for literacy development for children and adults through direct services to schools and the community, literacy research, and teacher preparation and development.

Provides in-depth practice educational technology, interdisciplinary teaching, and curriculum and instruction for diverse learners.

Through the use of education, research, and advocacy, works in partnership with individuals and organizations to enable communities to support, appreciate, and engage diverse members.
